These photos are of the 44301 and were taken at NMLBS in December 1999. Photos and Description by Eric Kozowski     Looking from the centerline outboard to the starboard side at the forward end of the engine room. The blue box on the left is the 120VAC electrical panel, below that, with the blue hoses running to it, are hydraulic steering parts. The light gray panel to the right of the blue panel is the engine alarm control panel, below that is one of the two 8D batteries (the other is below the first). All these items are on the forward engine room bulkhead. The smaller gague is hydraulic pressure for the steering system. The bigger gague is firesystem water pressure. The red and brass piping is for the fire system and dewatering system. The yellow light is a battery powered battle lantern. The white ducting, it is mounted on is the starboard air intake. Then in the lower right of the picture is the starboard engine.
