Fairey Marine Limited in Cowes, Isle of Wight made the last three Waveney class lifeboats for the RNLI between 1980 and 1982. They also made under license a 44ft class of lifeboat for export to the Iranian Coast Guard. This lifeboat class was called Medina and was very similar to the Waveney, though the profile of there main and survivors cabins were somewhat different. These ten boats were built around 1975 and were in service in Iran in 1978.

If you can help me with any of the missing photos or can add to the displayed information, I would be pleased to hear from you.
